I just finished porting the game client to Windows last night…
![]()
Because I just finished doing that, I decided to try to release it out to my very small community. If you want to try it out, please do at the link below. It’s been tested on WindowsXP and Windows7, and it seems to run perfectly well. I hope it stays that way, I really don’t want to find out there is a big bug or anything in it…
Now onto the porting of Linux, and the fine tuning on Mac.
So please download and try it out from the link below.
Please go check it out!
I just made the Google Code project for Simple Ruby Chat(SRubyChat). The link to the download for the source code is ( http://code.google.com/p/srubychat/ ). I hope you enjoy looking through it if you decide to. ^^
This first version is Release Candidate 1 for Version 1.0.
I’ll improve it over time, and comment it, ect…

Just not so sure about God. I am a Christian though. It just, doesn’t make much sense. -How can a loving God send people to Hell? - The same way a loving parent can punish their child.
-If God were all accepting, wouldn’t he accept you at the end? Even after your death? - I’m not exactly sure what you mean by this one…
-If God is all good and sends people to Hell, then what exactly does Satan do that is worse? - God tells us what will happen if we don’t accept Jesus as our savior, ect. It’s a punishment. However, Satan tempts us and tries to get us to do wrong, and not believe God. That’s how Satan is so horrible, he tries to get us to do wrong and thus burn…
-If God made people in His image, perfect, then why do people turn (or are born) gay? Even though he doesn’t accept them? - I don’t believe in the whole “born gay” thing. So this just goes back to free will. It’s our choice to be the way we are, and some things are wrong. I believe by us being in God’s image, means that he gave us free will to choose how we are.
-After awhile, Heaven would be a dull place. Think about it. If you won the lottery the first time and got 1 billion dollars, you would be so happy. If you won it every day for the rest of your life, sure, you would be happy, but not as happy as the first time you won it. And after a while, you have everything you ever wanted/needed, so what happiness comes from already after you achieve everything? How can you get happier? - We don’t know how Heaven will truly be. So we can’t really judge if we’ll get “bored” of it now can we?
-Hell would also get dull. You would be use to the pain. You would be numb. Think of it as you getting punched in the arm everyday for the rest of your life. You would get use to it, or just numb. It wouldn’t be so bad after a while. - Not exactly, because if you believe it the way you seem to we’ll die, regenerate then die again. This means our ENTIRE bodies will burn, then come back. Our brains will be different each time, so we won’t have time to become numb to the pain.
-God creates sin, within His image. If we are meant to die by a horrible murderer, God obviously created him, right? In His image. He knew how and what he would become. If God created someone, and they became a murdered in their life without God’s knowledge, then they just surprised an all knowing Being. That’s a paradox for you. - Once again by being created in his image I think it simply means we were given free will, and a brain good enough to use that free will. So off of that, your point fails.
-Why did God get angry and cause the plague? To show His wrath? Wrath is part of the Seven Deadly Sins, thus, a sin nonetheless. God committed a sin. - To punish those who were doing wrong. The same way a parent punishes their child. It’s not from wrath, it’s from cause and effect, and to try to teach your children to do right.
-Technically, Jesus committed suicide. He knew he would die, and even said Himself “I could call upon One Thousand Angels to come save me.” But He didn’t. He allowed Himself to die. Last time I checked, suicide was one’s own action to cause their own death. Isn’t suicide still murder upon thyself? - He needed to die for our sins. He was sacrificing Himself on our behalf…He was dying for us, I don’t view that as a suicide personally.
And so, so much more. I will let you all think of this logically.
I put my answers by his questions/statement. ^^ I’m a Christian, and I know I don’t have all the answers…but I do think I know how to logically reply to these at least. Please don’t take this offensively.
Please note that I’m currently on a pain med…So my explanations might be worded weird, or not explained quite well enough.
